Helping leaders make a real difference
Helping leaders make a real difference

Charlie Simpson
'We say it the whole time, the world over...'leadership starts with trust'. So why is it so painfully absent?' Charlie Simpson
My passion is helping leaders, organisations and communities to build trust and relationship with whomever they need to influence and be influenced by, in order to fulfil their purpose. I love seeing leaders blossom as they inspire and enable those around them. I particularly enjoy proving to those who might not see themselves as natural communicators, that communication skills are exactly that – skills, which with a bit of effort, can be honed to huge positive effect. I coach in many different sectors and situations - from finance to fashion to industry to not-for-profit, either generic communications coaching or for specific high pressure situations - fund raising, large pitches/ bids, M & A ( eg: Management presentations for PE exits) and important conference / AGM speeches.
An early career at the Bar (crime, family and licensing), followed by 14 years as a professional actor (West End, RSC, & TV from classic drama to soap), followed by 16 years as a communications coach has given me the insight and tools to challenge and enhance my clients' abilities to be great listeners, and persuasive speakers, as they seek to make a difference in whatever their context.
I coach senior and aspiring leaders in a wide range of corporate, Not For profit & private clients in the UK and cross culturally in Europe, Africa, & Asia. This experience has taken me into broader issues around leadership styles, facilitation and mediation (I am a qualified mediator). My passion remains face to face communication and a better world in which people “connect” for the common good.
'Your added value has been immense, and the team perceived very quickly your tremendous experience. For most of the managers it was the first time they were going through such a process. You put them into a confident mood, respecting cultural specificities, and you were able to bring the team together speaking one voice.'
Pierre Fleck. CEO Europart Group.
